"Illegal construction in Mulund

This is to bring to your kind notice about the illegal construction going on beside 'O' building, Vardhman Nagar without having any motive against the Jain Religion.We are not against any religion but Lord hyas given no right to any person to build illegally. This land is part/ moeity of large property /land bearing C.T.S. No 878A and survey no.307, Hissa No2 Village Muln(W), Taluka Kurla, District Mumbai Suburban, situate at Agfa Quarters, Dr Rajendra Pratap Road, Mulund(W), Mumbai 400080, assessed under "T" Ward No/ Street Nos T2507 (2A-4 and 5) 2AA. The said Bhagwan Vardhman Shwetamber Murtipujak Tapagachha Jain Sangha, a public trust registered under the Bombay Public trust Act, 1950 bearing registration No A4256 dated 24.01.2005 has already constructed an illegal temple and are now costructing illegal Upasray in the residential area.

The Sangha had taken permission for renovation and alteration and flouted all the rules and demolished the existing structure. They have not left any space between the adjoining building and are affecting the existing pillars and ventilation of 'O ' Building. They have used all sorts of things to curt our actions against them. So we have already registered an NOC against them in the police and also Fire brigade. According to ongoing construction, they are moving as fast as they can to show the said premises is under going repair work and not reconstruction

We have already made complaints to BMC and have orders to take action against BMC Act and MRTP Act which was issued on 2n Feb,2011 instead of initiating action building proposal department without verifying the facts have authorized and approved IOD for Alteration and Repairs with discrimination of redevelopment . We have already sent many a notices, since there has been no action taken by the said authorities, we have to escalate these matter to the last resort. They feel that they are the LAW by themselves.

We have lost all hopes of stopping the construction work due to the clout of the Bhagwan Vardhman Shwetamber Murtipujak Tapagachha Jain Sangha on BMC, Police and all the other authorities.

Harassement from University

Respected Sir,

I, Sonali Harisse Gokani, 4^th year BBA/LLB student in SNDT Women's University, am reporting as complaint and also enquiring hereby about matters bothering me since long, related to my studentship in Law School, right from my first admission in 2009 in the course. At that time I had aCertificate of Entry of a Citizen of India, and an Indian Passport with address of Madagascar, the country where I am born. My Mother and three of my direct grand-parents are born and brought up in India respectively and two of them are still resident in Gujarat.

 I am known as the only "NRI student" among the University personnel, who is devolved to pay 5times the fees to the University, for which they have no internal written policy nor any proof of Government rule. They firstly made me believe that "it is Government's rule" when I newly came in the city for admission. But as a Breach of Trust, they subsequently failed prove the same when asked, giving me unfounded postponing, illogical directions and doubtful explanations every time to avoid my approach. I started questioning on this situation right from second year to claim my rights to study under regular Studentship. But failing, I got more documents made, like local bank account, pan card, LIC Policy and flat agreement and submitted them to Mrs Kiran Sharma the I/C Head of Law School respectively, for seeking of regular admission of 4^th year, but this attempt wasrejected again after inducing me in a circular illogical information; and the last date of admission arrived.

Mrs Sharma said:

"Take the admission in 5times for the 4^th year as well. If you get any right, you will be refunded. We only follow the rules given by Mumbai University. But SNDT is autonomous and has its own rules. And you have to pay 5times because it is Government's rule".

Isn't this fallacious? They claim that I should have a proof of residence but still deny me a regular admission, knowing that the extra charges are considerable and no QUOTA,nor any extra facility is given in exchange, in spite of SNDT being a semi government University. Why so? It is to mention that I am soon obtaining my telephone billing and my Aadhar Card, what else do one require?

Also to note that I have written to several relevant authorities and CPIO of SNDT and UGC under The RTI Act (2005) but not a single reply yet, it's been more than a month for some. I sincerely request you to help  relieve me from this mental and material trouble and guide me on my Rights and the action I can take as they really seem not to co-operate. Also please provide me with answers for the following:

1.       What rights and status the previously mentioned Certificate entitles me to?

2.       Having all the previously mentioned documents, is the University entitled to treat me as NRI?

3.       Is a University entitled to neglect, even refuse transparency to students?

4.       Is the University entitled to take extra charges without providing any QUOTA or the like?

4.a) If yes on what basis and for what purpose?

5.       Is a University entitled to take extra charges without having internal policy of its own, for the mere reason only 1student is from outside India, how does it matter?

6.       Under which Act and Authority respectively is the mistreatment of Students regulated?

7.       Under which Government Law is a NRI deemed to pay 5times the fees as the University alleges?

8.       Am I entitled to take legal action, claim damages or how do I proceed for the recovering the loss?

9.       Is Indian policy made as to discourage the Indian Diaspora from willing to relocate in India, and that too applied on not earning students?

I most respectfully request you to help me identify the authority I should approach, as the procedures are generally long and the five years course would be spent without relief…

New York (October 21, 2010): Reacting to the President Obama’s refusal to visit Darbar Sahib (Amritsar), Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a human rights advocacy group backed by hundreds of Sikh Gurudwaras across North America stated that cancellation of visit by Preside nt is not due to headscarf issue as Indian lobbyists want everyone to believe but instead President has shied away from speaking about and paying tribute to the thousands of innocent pilgrims who were murdered in Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) by Indian Army in June 1984.According to Attorney Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, legal advisor to SFJ, President Obama is going to Mumbai a city of about 20 million populations to pay tribute to victims of terrorist attacks while ignoring Sikh victims of violence who had approached him ahead of his visit to Darbar Sahib (Amritsar).

Attorney Pannun further added that President Obama’s visit to Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) would have given a tremendous push to key Sikh issues such as separate religious identity of Sikhs, massacre of Sikhs at Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) by the Indian Army and his visit would have been seen around world as a gesture of support to suppressed religious minorities. No other world leader is more capable to understand the plight of India Sikhs than President Obama who himself comes from a community that had suffered discrimination and injustice, added attorney Pannun.

President Obama, has played right into the hands of Indian lobbyists who have successfully thwarted his visit to Darbar Sahib (Amritsar). The refusal by President Obama to visit Darbar Sahib exposes hollowness of Obama’s claim of respect for religious diversity, and undermines the so called “world leader” stature of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh who is a Sikh.

In his January 19, 2008 statement, President Obama stated that he will be a President who will “respond forcefully to all genocides”, however, President Obama’s refusal to visit Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) has become another instance where he failed to fulfill his electoral promise and caved in to the Indian lobbying.

According to attorney Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, legal advisor to SFJ, any electoral promise aside, Article 1 of U.N Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (1948) requires the United States President to take all actions necessary to prevent and punish acts of genocide. The obligation to act on the issue of every Genocide, added attorney Pannun, is neither absolved because of the economic status of the country where the Genocide was committed (i.e. India) nor is it mitigated by the number and status of victims (i.e. Sikhs).

SJF backed and supported by hundreds of Sikh Gurdwaras across America approached President Obama in September 2010 in Philadelphia and urged him to show solidarity during his visit to Darbar Sahib (Amritsar), where thousands of innocent Sikh pilgrims were ruthlessly murdered by the Indian Security Forces in this very Temple, the Vatican of Sikhs, in June 1984. President Obama’s visit to Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) and SFJ’s campaign was going to expose the gross human rights violations and murders committed by the Indian Army in the same very Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) in June 1984.  Unfortunately President Obama who himself comes from a minority community, caved in to the pressure of lobbyists and cancelled his visit to Darbar Sahib (Amritsar) instead of standing with an oppressed minority of India.

According to Attorney Pannun who practices human rights, refugee and asylum law in the United States, such efforts on part of Indian lobbyists are not new or surprising because since June 1984, Indian Government has consistently blocked and disallowed visits to Punjab by foreign human rights organizations in order to cover the atrocities perpetrated against Sikhs in India. He further added that most recently members of United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCRIF) who wanted to visit India to investigate the state of affairs viz`-a-viz´ Indian Christians, were denied visas by the Indian Government. In April 2009 Amnesty International was forced to close its office in New Delhi, making India the only democracy in the world without the presence of even a single international human rights organization.

Fake Memory Cards @ Public Places

I understand that this is not a case of corruption that I am reporting but it is not less important.

Some people are selling fake memory card chips at dirt cheap price at railways stations in Mumbai. They are no good as they are just plastic. Don't get attracted by the price or their packaging. It is all fake. 

I have reported this to Santacruz Railway Police once. 

Be aware and get them caught if you find one.

It seems everyone who goes there for registration is asked to pay Rs. 500/- as I saw 2 other people paying them.

Railway Protection Force - RPF is the most corrupt armed force in India

This time I unfortunately used Indian Railways as a mode of transport for travelling from Delhi to Mumbai on January 22, 2012, at 8 PM. via Dehradun Express.

I saw two incidents in that journey which reconfirmed my belief that this was indeed one of the most corrupt institutions of India.

In Hazrat Nizamuddin station at the back gate counter I was asked to open my luggage since they saw in the scanner that there were two bottles of apple wine which I purchased at Shimla. These wines are manufactured by the government of Himachal Pradesh and I had valid bills with me for the same. Despite telling this to the RPF personnel, they paid no heed to my request and asked me to pay out a fine of Rs. 2000. I was not carrying so much cash and I had to board the train hence we settled down for Rs. 500 which was promptly taken without any receipt for the same being given to me despite me asking them to give me a receipt so that I am not harassed again. When it is allowed to carry liquor in airports inside your baggage then I did not understand why it should not be permitted in a train. I am sure it is perfectly okay to carry sealed bottles of wine inside your baggage even in trains.

I would like to recommend the name of RPF for an award for using the technology to its best use. The scanners which are supposed to be used for detecting explosives (unfortunately none have been detected till now) are put to their best use for harassing common people like us. The Indian government has given one more weapon to the RPF by spending crores of taxpayers money to purchase the scanners which is being effectively used to detect liquor bottles.

The second incident happened during the journey when there was a TT change when
the train was somewhere in Madhya Pradesh. One TT got up wearing no uniform whatsoever and with no identity tag attached to his coat along with an armed RPF jawan whose main responsibility was to threaten the individuals who were carrying valid tickets but with seemingly inappropriate identity proofs. I was carrying a credit card as my identity proof and I was lectured that credit cards cannot be valid ID proofs whereas the railways website from where I bought the ticket clearly stated that credit card is a valid ID proof. His attempts of extracting money from me went futile but to my horror I saw him harassing the other passengers who were unfortunately not knowledgeable enough to argue with him even though they were carrying valid tickets which have been checked and acknowledged by the previous TT who boarded at Delhi. This guy accompanied by a RPF jawan created an atmosphere of terror in the compartment for all the passengers who were holding valid reserved tickets whereas nothing was told to the local passengers who got up without reservation and were sitting inside the reserved compartments as they would have already paid some fixed bribe to this TT. At the end of 2 hours of this reign of terror we heard the TT and the RPF personnel discussing near the toilet gate that today's collection was not up to the mark and they should have been able to collect some more money. Its disgusting to see such incidents happening on a daily basis in Indian trains whereas the inefficient Ministry of Railways is not able to do anything about it.

After seeing these two incidents the only thing I can think about RPF is that their duty is to terrorize people travelling in Indian Railways and extract money. Thank God that the Indian government has not created an airways protection force otherwise the same thing would have been repeated at the airports too.

Sand Mafia in Dombivali and Near area...

Hi Aditya.

I' staying @ Dombivali and travelling to Mumbai for work. 

Daily we observed the more than 100 of Boats which is taking sand from the bay and transfer to the remote location near 52 Chal.

From that point it is unloaded and send to builder, police don't any action as it is the  business of more than cr rupees and everybody in Govt getting their share in it.

Unfortunately corp orator of KDMC is running this business and by donating money to social causes showing that they are with clean cloths.

Can u do something to publish this ?? want to keep name secret... as i m staying in that zone..

Over charging than MRP rates in Mumbai Nasik highway Dabas

Dear All,

 

Recently I went to Shidi from Mumbai.  On the high ways there are plenty of Punjabi Dabas.  In all Dabas they are charging in excess than the MRP rates for all items.

 

For example a Rs.15/- water bottle was sold at the rate of Rs.25.

A Rs.5/- Milk bikies sold at the rate of Rs.8/-per pack.

 

I want to report this to the concerned authorities and do the needful to stop this daylight looting.

Income tax refund order not received

Unauthorized Agents and Gangsters Outside Bandra Terminus Mumbai.

           Hello Sir, I would like to provide you a scene which takes place daily outside bandra Terminus. There is Group of 10-15 people roaming outside the bandra Terminus. As soon as some of the passengers come from riskshaw they ask for Confirmed ticket if they dont have. Once i was not having confirmed ticket so i thought its really great to get confirmed ticket by giving just 50rs + ticket charges. so i waited along and at last one of those guy came with Ticket(half distance confimred + half waiting) He cheated. total fare was 250+150=400rs so i was supposed to give 450rs. But when he came with ticket he asked me 1300rs for total ticket charges. He said it is impossible to get confirmed ticket during diwali so u have to give. He snatched 500rs from me and ask me to give whatever i have else he will beat me and will take all my luggage. Finally somehow i manage to get ticket from his hand and ran away. But apart from this incidence. I dont want other people to suffer from such gangsters. RPF Police security is Zero at Bandra Railway Terminus. Please Do something else such Gangster will loot the people threatening them. I hope this email should be forwarded to Bandra DCP and Police Head offices along with Railway Police force. To implement security and Catch this 10-15 Dangerous Gangsters by some secret mission. Please Police Authorities Do something. More n more public could be suffered from them.They run away from bandra terminus when police jeep comes there.So some special secret mission would be required by police authorities to catch those guyz.

 I hope it will surely help innocent people being fraud by such gangsters.

Mostly south side tourist bus operator are carrying commercial goods on their roof and it is approx. full truck load. The question is this are they permitted to carry commercial goods along-with passengers? The permit is given to them is  valid for passengers or commercial goods. Due to this much of material on the  roof any time driver can loose his control over the bus and it can cause death of more then 50 passengers. This type of material is can carry in trucks only. Who is behind this, I think a big racket is working and allowing them to do so.

Is govt. waiting for a big accident to take action against this. I request you to kindly stop this as soon as possible and save innocent passengers life. We will be very thankful to you.

                                           I, undersigned Sidlingpatil wants to draw your kind attention towards a news broadcast on TV9 mumbai on yesterday on behalf of MMRDA that M/S IRB LTD was spent Rs. 300 crores for making roads

and bridges before 12 years near Mumbai. The company suppose to collect the same amount but within 12 years from 5 toll plaza around Mumbai company has been already collected Rs. 2393 crores as toll tax from vehicles and still continues collecting. The company is also awarded for next 16 years to collect toll tax, means company will collect approx Rs. 6000 crores in 28 years in-spite of Rs 300 crores. I know this is not your field but this is for your information. I request Annaji to ask state govt. to stop this type irregularities with immediate effect and take necessary action against company and other who are responsible for this. This is cruelty against vehicle owners and a matter of big corruption in our political system. They are not taking toll from govt vehicles and from politicians that's why they are not bothered.

               Dial Infoline company se mera bahot purana rishta hai,but main khud ek employee hone ke bawajud is company se bahot naraj hun.is company ke owner Mr.sanjeev Sing hai.yeh company ek search engine ki taur pe mumbai me kam kar rahi hai.but ye company fraud hai.aaj tak is company ne kai logo ke,kai company ke lakho rupaye khaye hai.log kuch fayda hoga is liye paise advance dete hai but unke sath khilwad ye company karti hai.paise lene tak badi badi bate karti hai but uske bad kabhi kuch business dene ka nam nahi hota.aap ye sochoge ki ye sab main kyon bol raha hun jab ki main ek time isi company ka hissa hua karta tha.main yeh isliye bol raha hun ki nahi ye company registered hai aur nahi legal tarike se kam karti hai.aaj tak kisi bhi employee ko nahi offer later diya gaya hai aur nahi kisi ko appoinment letter.sabko target to bahot bada diya jata hai,uske sath incentive dene ka wada bhi kiya jata hai but wo kabhi pura nahi hota.ulta agar koi employee business nahi deta to use nikal diya jata hai aur uska pagar bhi dene ka nam nahi lete.consumer law ke hisab se har labor ko uski tankhwa month end ya 2-3-5 tarik tak milni chahiye but ye company January ki sallery 25 feb ko deti hai.hamesha sallery ke liye rona rahata hai itna kamane ke bad bhi.aur kabhi kabhi to dusara mahina bhi ho jata hai firbhi pahile mahine ki sallery nahi di jati. aaj tak bohot se mere bhai behen is company se judke bada dhokha kha chuke hai.ye company sirf paisa khana janti hai.ekbar paise hath me aa gaye fir customers ke phone uthana band ho jata hai.agar uthate bhi hai to bahot galat bat ki jati hai.is company ka customer care no. hai.022-61176117 aur hotline no.hai 022-65333333.is company ke owner sanjiv sing ka no.hai 9223246523.ye company ko jald se jald koi kadi saja honi chahiye.agar band ho jaye to bahot hi acha hai.ye logoke man se khilwad ho raha hai.aaj maine hi is company ko kam se kam 20 to 25 lakh tak ka business karke diya hai.meri bhi majburi thi isliye main job karta tha but kuch din bad muze yeh sab galat lagne laga aur main kisi ki baddua nahi lena chahta tha.Mr.Aditya ka main shukragujar hun ki unhone itni choti umar me itna bada sapna lekar kuch koshish ki hai.aasha hai kam se kam is jariye se to koi meri icha puri kare aur us company ke owner ko fraud karne ke liye kadi se kadi saja de.

Mr. Vijay paiganker (treasurer) and his younger brother Ajay paiganker (committe member) sold Railways institude scrab (bhangar) in illagaly way, on last week 14/10/2011.

Its cost around Rs 1,50,000/- One lack fifty thousand rupees which they not show anyone.

Yeh Railway ki chori hai.

Please findout them and punish them strongly.

MUMBAI AIRPORT STAFF ASK FOR EXTRA MONEY

I am a regular traveller from International and Domestic destinations.
Whenever I travel, I always came across such situation of airport
staff asking money from travellers. Not only the temporary staff who
pick baggage but also the Airways staff. If we give Rs. 10, they ask
for 100. Once, a member of Jet Airways asked me Rs. 2500 and bottle of
Imported Whisky for giving me extension of 10 kgs from my
International baggage. When I said no, they threatened me but the
officials never believed me and they never took action.
The temporary staff and Airways staff also ask for me.. If we do not
pay, they say, we will not let you in the plane and till last of my
boarding of plane, they looked me with threatening eyes.
I gave them Rs. 2500 plus the 40,000 Rs. charge of extra baggage just
because I am a travelling alone and a GIRL...

Illegal construction in Mulund

This is to bring to your kind notice about the illegal construction going on beside 'O' building, Vardhman Nagar without having any motive against the Jain Religion.We are not against any religion but Lord hyas given no right to any person to build illegally. This land is part/ moeity of large property /land bearing C.T.S. No 878A and survey no.307, Hissa No2 Village Muln(W), Taluka Kurla, District Mumbai Suburban, situate at Agfa Quarters, Dr Rajendra Pratap Road, Mulund(W), Mumbai 400080, assessed under "T" Ward No/ Street Nos T2507 (2A-4 and 5) 2AA. The said Bhagwan Vardhman Shwetamber Murtipujak Tapagachha Jain Sangha, a public trust registered under the Bombay Public trust Act, 1950 bearing registration No A4256 dated 24.01.2005 has already constructed an illegal temple and are now costructing illegal Upasray in the residential area.

The Sangha had taken permission for renovation and alteration and flouted all the rules and demolished the existing structure. They have not left any space between the adjoining building and are affecting the existing pillars and ventilation of 'O ' Building. They have used all sorts of things to curt our actions against them. So we have already registered an NOC against them in the police and also Fire brigade. According to ongoing construction, they are moving as fast as they can to show the said premises is under going repair work and not reconstruction

We have already made complaints to BMC and have orders to take action against BMC Act and MRTP Act which was issued on 2n Feb,2011 instead of initiating action building proposal department without verifying the facts have authorized and approved IOD for Alteration and Repairs with discrimination of redevelopment . We have already sent many a notices, since there has been no action taken by the said authorities, we have to escalate these matter to the last resort. They feel that they are the LAW by themselves.

We have lost all hopes of stopping the construction work due to the clout of the Bhagwan Vardhman Shwetamber Murtipujak Tapagachha Jain Sangha on BMC, Police and all the other authorities.
